The exhibition showcases a series of design projects by Foræva Studio, focused on re-imagining the tradition and crafts of the future through the advances of technology and computer science. A reflection on the cultural legacy for future generations, it is a celebration of heritage and diversity by decoding and reinventing centuries old graphics and motifs through computational design, machine learning and Artificial Intelligence(AI) as well as materialising them through novel techniques, materials and machine assisted processes such as 3D printing. An immersive audio visual experience, the exhibition includes insights into the digital explorations and design processes behind the Swarovski Crystal dress worn by Bjork on stage, virtual and digital garments, machine learning experiments and AI generated tapestries as well as exciting unreleased works in premiere at RCW.
