Interested in working with space in site specific situations, Anamaria Pravicencu’s artistic practice was initially favoring architectural interventions and sound installation, and in the recent years she is primary focusing on field recording, sound composition, and radio art. Founder and curator of the SEMI SILENT podcast platform, Anamaria Pravicencu is producing commissioned sound art and radio art pieces for numerous artists, and her own.

Studied sculpture and sound art at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris. Lives and works in Bucharest.
