Daniel Pop, founder of Firekultur artistic group (2016), is a designer specializing in furniture and environmental installations in ceramics. In his monumental compositions the artist bets on geometric simplicity and a captivating chromatic spectacle. The object and furniture installations take on a massive, brutalist sculptural expression and the rough, volcanic glazes used as a result of research over the last 10 years embrace the shapes, giving them an original expression.
Ramona Biciușcă is a visual artist and ceramist with a complex academic background. She graduated her higher studies in Romania and Spain. Since 2019 she has started a series of collaborative projects with May Gallery in Paris. Her studio is a journey where everything becomes wonder and discovery. Through everything she imagines, the artist speaks about full and empty and on another level of her stylistic discourse she explores microscopic structures in nature, transposed into monumental (parietal) compositions. Radiolarians and corals are visually interpreted and exploited through agglomerations and sequences of elements, in a series of quality aesthetic expressions, a true joy of seductive curiosities.
