Emma Bădulescu – Gwen – (b. 2001) is a visual artist interested in everything around the words: brutalism, gloomy, black humour, power, violence, pleasures, mystery, death, magic, and how to turn the actions of a damage character into an absurd scene. With a background in graphics at high-school of Fine Arts “Nicolae Tonitza”, Gwen is currently studying painting at National University of Arts in Bucharest since 2020. At the moment, she experiences different plastic ways from painting to installation and from ceramic to sculpture, using a bloody language which goes hand in hand with her manner of working.
