Crina Bulprich

The brand Crina Bulprich started seven years ago, directly after the designer graduated from University of Art and Design Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The studies defined Crina’s path in fashion, but also an important part was her internship as a designer’s assistant for Lucio Vanotti, in Milan.

Starting from 2015 until today, the brand Crina Bulprich has been creating, annually, two collections, for spring-summer, autumn-winter.

From its first collection, Crina Bulprich relayed on an aesthetic that proposes both a clean silhouette through straight lines and refined colors, as well as precise cuts and defined volumes. With a minimalistic, versatile, but yet sophisticated style, the brand focuses on the quality, functionality, and durability of the products created – the main principles that guide the designer’s mission. Different textures of wool, cotton, linen or silk are the primary materials underlying the execution of the clothes.

“Since the beginning of my journey as a designer, from one collection to another, I noticed that there’s always a mix that inspires me, a “mélange” consisting of minimalist sculptures, refined colors, details or works of art from the classical period. There’s always a nostalgic mood in my collections, a particular emotion, something that I lived or I imagined.” – Crina Bulprich.

On the journey of continual evolution, the brand wants to reach a certain “maturity”, so that the created clothes meet the needs of those who wear them, but also correspond to the designer’s creative desires. An important aspect of this brand is the quality and durability of the materials from which the clothes are built.

Starting with the presentation of the BA collection, Crina Bulprich has entered in the attention of the specialized press through prizes (MoleculeF and Jolidon Romania) and has enjoyed appearances in the magazines, collaborations with various photographers, stylists, interviews, collaborations – capsule collection 2016, together with designer Lucian Rusu.
