Adelina Ivan

Adelina Ivan lucrează cu diverse medii, de la video la instalații textile și desen, examinând structuri și geometrii într-o căutare artistică a compunerii și dezintegrării materiei. La baza practicii sale artistice există o critică socială și culturală a convențiilor care au influențat modurile, de altfel foarte diverse, prin care ne putem imagina feminitatea. Forța și fragilitatea sunt puse în echilibru, ilustrând ideea de ritm și mișcare repetitivă descoperită în spatele liniilor pur abstracte.

A studiat la Universitatea de Arte din București și a expus la Litost Gallery Praga, Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature Paris, MNAC București, Media Art Festival Arad, Artissima Torino, Anca Poterașu Gallery București, Spinnerei Leipzig, Kunsthalle Bega, tranzit .ro / bucurești, Tokio Art Screening Festival, Galeria Jean-Claude Mayer Frankfurt, Muzeul de Artă Recentă MARe București, Bienala Alb-Negru Muzeul de Artă Satu Mare, ODD București, Bienala de Design Istanbul.
