Laetitia Forst

Laetitia Forst este cercetător în domeniul designului textil la University of the Arts London. Lucrează în cadrul Centrului pentru Design Circular la proiectul HEREWEAR care explorează zonele reper ale designului pentru dezvoltarea și folosirea unor materiale inovatoare bio, în sisteme circulare și responsabile.

Cercetarea doctorală „Textiles for Disassembly” (2020) a explorat soluții de design pentru încorporarea „ease of recyclability into blends”. Utilizând unelte/metode de dezasamblare aplicate la materiale, cercetarea s-a concentrat pe modul în care pot fi ridicate barierele, încă din primele stadii ale proceselor de prelucrare, în ceea ce privește mixarea de materiale reciclate. Cercetarea a fost finanțată de University of the Arts London cu un sprijin adițional din partea – Cotton Textiles Research Trust.

Re-Modelling fashion: design practices and business models for sustainability, HEREWEAR PROJECT (Bio-based local sustainable circular wear), HEREWEAR innovates with a holistic, systemic approach towards the creation of an EU market for locally produced circular textiles and clothing made from bio-based waste.
