CALL FOR PROJECTS:

THE CREATIVE FIVE: a concept which comprises 5 New Media installations to be exhibited within the Romanian Creative Week event as part of the new media art exhibition: #NEW MEDIA STREET, along the artworks of other artists in this particular field.
#NEW MEDIA STREET and #NEW MEDIA ALLEY belongs to the NEW MEDIA section of the #RCW22 event.
We are searching for 5 multimedia installation artworks on the Inter-Connection / Restart theme which may epitomize THE CREATIVE FIVE concept.
Application requirements:
•Enrollment as an Undergraduate/Master’s Degree/PhD student of the George Enescu National University of Arts in Iași
•Compliance with the Inter-Connection / Restart theme
•The application must comply with all the steps provided in the Guidelines and must be submitted no later than 10 March 2022, 11 PM. All applications submitted after this time will not be taken into account.
•The artwork must be completed until 20 May 2022.
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Each artwork selected will receive a 700
Euro - production budget. The projects will be displayed in public venues within the #New Media Street event, between 26 and 29 May 2022.

Communication of competition results: 16 March 2022
Project implementation: 25 March 2022 – 20 May 2022

About the events
In 2022, the NEW MEDIA section of the Romanian Creative Week will comprise two exhibition and performative circuits, i.e. NEW MEDIA STREET and NEW MEDIA ALLEY. They intend to create a platform for dialogue between digital arts – new media and the audience from Iași, by showcasing artwork by artists and companies focused on creative media projects in public venues, as exhibition concepts.
The exhibition will be organized in several public venues in Iași, as a BLOCKCHAIN system within which these spaces will become validation hubs for the entire exhibition chain.
#NEW MEDIA STREET & NEW MEDIA ALLEY intend to promote artists from this field while supporting projects and artwork of young emerging artists.
