Laurian Bardos lives and works in Bucharest, Romania.

Within the sonic construct of the syntax project, Laurian Bardos draws a strong influence from his study in medical psychology. From this perspective, the evolution of his experimental music was influenced by the study of perception and Gestalt theory, which links the spatial (geometric) form with the temporal form (sound).

Conceptually, he is inspired by the further study of the synesthetic aspects of perception and the concern to find a primary artistic language, formally purified, non-alphabetic and decoding-transcoding methods beyond the limitations of natural language, aiming at a suspension, an oppositional thwartery, of the data of the paradigmatic discourse specific to dualistic thinking, conditioned by the socio-cultural context.
