My name is Hajnal Antal and I established my company, Selected Bags in 2013, aiming to create environment friendly accessories in order to propagate environmental awareness and the protection of the environment.

My mission and my philosophy are about making connections between forms, functions, people and environment.  Despite the ever-growing electronic revolution, the demand for paper products is still increasing. Along with this demand comes a lot of waste and there is a universe out there with millions of ways of turning trash to treasure.

I chose as raw material for my quality hand-made bags recyclable paper, which is made durable and waterproof by special methods. Whoever buys a Selected Bags product acquires a unique bag with glittering, vivid colours and varied patterns, which is sure to put the user in the centre of attention on every occasion. In my latest collection, I combine paper and leather in a unique manner conferring to my customizable bags a new form compared to my previous collection and as such I take my individual style to a whole new level by “interweaving” different materials.

The Selected Bags brand is a socially and eco conscious fashion line that was created in Transylvania, Romania – but with a desire to impact the world. Our goal is to merge fashion with environmental awareness. Selected Bags is not only a brand, but also a message to dare to be unique, to raise attention about environmental awareness. We are passionate about combining the paper with a touch of leather, to create contemporary and revolutionary sustainable concept and designs that are unique, elegant, special, chic and luxurious.
